Penny always felt that her mothering skills were lacking. She never knew what to do with her eggs. Well, until that fateful day, that she stood at the living room window and watched the scocer championship! Finally! Everything clicked and fell into place. She at last knew, what she wanted to do with the rest of her life. Due to her lack of a soccer ball, Penny turned to what nature gave her. Because after all, she got a new one everyday!

(Chick in front) Trust me, you don't want to see what's in my pocket. But if you don't bring that bag of meal worms, it's gonna get ugly. You're not going to like it, when thing get ugly. Do we have an understanding? (Chick in back) Yeah right! Human, don't listen to him. Because, first off, he doesn't have any pockets. And second, that lump is just his lunch, he scarfed down like a pig. (Chick in front ) Well thanks a lot, you little tattle tale!

I remember the thread that first had this photo https://www.backyardchickens.com/t/538337/silly-swimming-chickens-i-mean-ducks-i-mean-chickens They were supervised while floating so that they would not flail around and get water logged feathers.

that was the neatest link I just checked out. fun seeing the kids and the little chickens in the pool together. it's obvious the kiddos love the birds.
