I just figured out why my hen's face freaks me out:

At 1st I though it was because she looked like an Ewok. (from Return of the Jedi)
Nope. Close, but not quite right.

However, there was another 1980s movie that came out a couple years later.....

Does anyone remember "Stripe" from Gremlins?

Now here come the nightmares......
