What is this color/pattern?

I have two Easter Eggers (so-called Ameraucana from a hatchery) and I can't figure out what to call their coloration. I'm hatching some eggs and I've been playing around with the chicken calculator trying to figure out what kind of babies to look for. (Daddy is a Production Red) Any idea of genotypes would be helpful too. Thanks!!!!

The second bird looks more less a blue wheaten. I think there's something else too as her colour is more uniform all over than blue wheatens I have. Could it be Co or Db?

I would call it partridge though I have no idea why you would breed these to a production red roo. If you have to keep a roo why not get a purebred? Seems to me that this is why people are posting "what breed is this?" I want to say it's a mutt that's what it is!

Well you should be.

You can keep different breeds just make sure your roo is of a breed you'd like to duplicate and only hatch the hens eggs of his breed. Ameraucana's are a nice bird. Though I don't have any. Yet!

When I got the chicks I was really just going for home-grown eggs in various colors, but I've gotten sucked into the fascination of breeding! I also didn't realize until later that hatchery strains of certain breeds aren't necessarily as good as breeder's strains (though I am more interested in raising birds that are good practical homestead/backyard birds, not necessarily show birds, though still true to the breed)

And I agree about the partridge color - the problem is, I had seen several pictures of partridge hens of various breeds that were way, way darker than her, and didn't really look right at all, but I've since googled and found several that look very much like her. So that's very helpful. Thanks!!

I'd definitely go with blue wheatenish on Bunny.

I breed black Ameraucanas, and my friend breeds wheaton,and blue wheaton Ameraucanas. Your birds are generaly "that mutt color"
But... The top does resemble over marked buff columbian? The bottom could be Blue buff columbian?

It might be good to note that in the history of all those so called birds that meet the "standard", that there were many that did not. So even though your bird may not meet the "standard" does not mean it's not an EE or BO or etc. etc. Also I bet there are alot of culled birds before acquireing the one that gets the blue ribbon.
Which is why some are getting sickly and cross beaked birds, in my opinion.

It's hard to believe that the first "buckeyes" and "delawares" were, (say it with me) Mutts!

I've got one Delaware that doesn't have all the markings but she's a smart girl. When she lays an egg for my breakfast, (which I just ate) I only need to crack one egg. She's so smart she puts both eggs in one shell. Give me a coop full of her any day over those fancy smancy show girls.
