What is this? Don’t think it’s pox...

I have one hen that has an odd ‘growth’ on her face. It’s been there since last fall but is slowly increasing in size. It looks like some of the pics I’ve seen of fowl pox, but it’s only 1 lesion and has had such slow growth that I don’t think that it could be. No other symptoms and the lesion doesn’t seem to bother her at all. Is it possible to have a Bumblefoot-like infection on her face?
If anyone knows how I should treat this, I’d appreciate any suggestions.
I was thinking of lancing it, draining (if in fact there’s any material inside), cleaning and using an antiseptic/polysporin in the wound. Not sure if this is the correct thing to do though.

If it's a cyst, it should be kind of squishy and movable under the skin and can be lanced.
However if it's hard and unmovable, it is a tumor and should be looked at by a vet to determine if it's cancerous.

Thanks all. So appreciative that this forum exists, always awesome to have a second opinion. I haven’t really had a good feel of it yet, but when hubby gets home I will - she’s a little squirrelly to hold right now since she’s brooding a few little Silkie and Serama babies.
