What is this duck?

My daughter,who is 3, caught a baby duck yesterday. I have zero experience with birds and actually just started chickens 2months ago.
What kind of duck is this and will it be ok if I put it with my chickens (they are bigger and have all of their adult feathers).

It looks like a Mallard. If she got it outside, then it's most likely one, if she got it from someone, it may be a Rouen.

Oh it was outside. She was chasing it around our truck yelling, "come here little weirdo!" (She's never seen a baby duck,and she knew it wasn't a chicken cuz we got chicks not long ago).

Yup, then it's a Mallard. U have such a beautiful little girl. If u r planing on keeping it, then I would say to clip it's wings (flight feathers) so it can't fly...only clip one so it can still land safely if it gets throne. Good luck!!!
