What is this feather mohawk??

For some reason when it rains the rest like to peck at the Polish the most here. This one doesn't have that same poofiness of a Polish, but I have also seen a Silkie cross with that type of headdress, but there is nothing else there to note Silkie.

She was from the "rare marans" collection at Meyers.
I ordered 3.
I got this one, a blue splash, and a white one. The catalogue says white marans are supposed to be feather legged- but it isn't. I'm wondering if they will even lay dark eggs. i hope they are darker than plymouth rock's... I'd like some variety...
