What is this gourd/squash?

Can't figure out what type of gourd or squash is growing in my fire pit. Anyone know?

If it's a volunteer it could be a hybrid of whatever you grew last year. Definitely looks pumpkin, possibly some Howden pumpkin in it due to the darker stem.

It is our fire pit so never grew anything but did throw some gourds and pumpkins in there at the end of the year.

I second this. Just a funky pumpkin we used to get them all the time!

Looks like a Spaghetti Squash. The orange varieties are supposed to have a better flavor.

It does look like a spaghetti squash. Have you ever tried the white spagetti squash with the green stripes?

Those are Delicata, and while they look similar to a spaghetti squash, they don't have the same texture. They taste similar to a butternut.
