What is this guy?

Both very pretty birds!! Must be a chicken keeper thing....someone dropped off a rooster in a cage here yesterday whose mate got attacked and killed by a cat. Now he hasn't been brave enough to crow yet but I don't need him either. My "rescued" rooster isn't even pretty!

I smell supper. For those who aren't oldtimers Supper= Dinner (in terms nowadays).

I had to explain that to my bro the other day... and I'm younger than him!

CDennis - Both these Roos are very pretty! I kind of wish someone would think of me when they had a bird to get rid of... I've got room!

That first roo looks like a science project gone wrong. He looks like a FrankenRoo! Mix of 4 or 5 different birds in one. The end result was kind of pretty though. I would keep both of them. You may want to hide him though...you never know when the townspeople will be on your doorstep with torches! (maybe to keep him for themselves!)

Good luck...

Thanks, the first one is a little goofy looking but he is a nice guy, not sure what his offspring would look like if I allowed that to happen. As for supper? I went to college in TN I know ALL about supper

He looks like he has a bit of a beard so I think he has d'Uccle in him but has no feathering on his feet. I think he is a mutt...sure is a good looking guy. As long as keeping roos is no problem where you live, I think you came out great...It wouldnt bother me at all to have two beautiful roos left on my doorstep.
