What is this in my egg?

I tried to get a good picture of it but it was hard getting the camera to focus. I don't get them very often and I'm wondering if this means the egg was fertilized or started incubating. Can anyone confirm this? Sometimes there's only one, others times I've found multiple little brown dots.

Hello! It looks like a fertilized egg to me, not and egg in the incubation period.

I'd say a meat spot. Sometimes the lining of the reproductive tract sheds and gets caught up in the egg making process. Won't hurt you, doesn't hurt the chicken. I just pick it out.

I agree with @Mylied , that is a meat spot. I get enough eggs that I feed those to the dogs. But, it won't hurt you if you eat it.

Meat spot, usually a piece of oviduct tissue. I use a fork to get it out before cooking personally, but it won't hurt you to eat it.

Not seeing that, even with zooming and lightening.

But, yeah, meat spot.....I just whisk them in too.
