What is this in my eggbox?

I have a mainly egg production flock, and as much as I would like to help her I might have to cull:hit:hit
We all have keep chickens for various reasons.
If she is for production and not a pet, then culling her would be the most practical solution.
With Salpingitis, the inflammation in the oviduct will get worse. Often times that "lash" material will build up and block the oviduct and a hen is not able to lay eggs.

The antibiotics may help, but she probably still won't be a producer.
Something else to consider - it sound like you probably sell eggs? Antibiotics usually have a throw away period, so if she were able to lay any eggs, then you would need to throw those out - you wouldn't want to sell those to a customer until a certain period of time has passed.

I'm very sorry:hugs Sometimes we are faced with hard decisions, but I'm sure you will make the right one.
