What is this on my chick's nose?

This chick just hatched today. I could see the strange horn like point on it's nose while it was in the egg. Does anyone know what it is?

Don't know what that is, but it will be interesting to see how it develops. Be sure to take photos as the chick grows and keep us posted.

The nose size has gone down to normal, but it still has thatth protrusion. And I now see it's head is a little mishapen. The dip by the beak is more pronounced then normal. Not sure if you can see it here.
