What is this? (Pic)

do you brood 3-legged alien vent probed chicks? Can they get out of the shell by themselves or is it like in alien and the mom drools acid on the shell. Personally I am concerened by this development...

Looks rather like some lice eggs I saw a pic of earlier. Don't know if they would lay on an egg though. Perhaps mites.

Moth eggs!!!

I get the same one's on my window at the house, and on the leaves of my hibiscus. Just a generic white moth finding a warm spot to hatch them.

Those look exactly like the eggs I watch moths deposit on our house. They harden into little uncrushable pebbles that you can scrape off if you wish. How odd that one would lay on a chicken egg . . .

From what I have seen in science books and stuff. That very much looks like some eggs from some insects. I wouldn't eat that. I would boil the whole egg to make sure that everything is "dead" and then just throw it away. It might spred and all that.

I agree with the egg belief. What type of egg? I don't know. I guess to be safe I would totally clean the coop and dust the girls.

SevinDust is Magic! I would highly recommend that if those are possible mite eggs. Mites are just SUCH a pest aren't they? Well, good luck and hope all is well : )

Those sure look like moth eggs. I hatched out a Polyphemus moth (wingspan between 4-6 inches) and she laid eggs that looked just like those. I shared the eggs with some other people and we were able to watch the life cycle from caterpillar to coccoon to moth.
