What is this? (Pic)

Oh really? Hummm...interesting. I have to research into that. Perhaps we can look it up online for those eggs and compare to the ones on the egg yes? Moths, regardless of what some people say, are fabulous creatures! They really are...

OH moths are quite something else.

I just witnessed a Hummingbird Moth for the first time last evening. I was completely fooled into saying "Hey honey, its a hummingbir..... wow, I mean a really freaky bird moth!!!!???"

Hello again...

So, have you figured out what that was? Anyhow, random thing is, I found a big red spider, dead with her egg sack in one of my pockets this morning and I was like OMG! SCARY!!!!

I would put it in a zip lock bag and watch it to see if anything hatches from them. I agree that they are some kind of insect egg. Calcium dep. would not be able to scrape off.

Hello,

Not to sound "mean" or anything but if that was me, I would hard boil it and throw it away. Not worth "seeing what it is" because it can be harmful to humans or it could get other eggs. I rather go with better safe than sorry on this one. : )

I have one pullet that always lays eggs with calcium deposits on it (none of the others do), and I CAN scrape them off. But my close-up eyesight is awful, so I don't know if they look like this or not.
