What is this? Scaly leg mites?

Thanks, all my pets are family. I check on her a few times a day she seems fine with it and she never did run around with the other hens much. She likes to sit and takes naps or cuddle up in this weather.

Also my brother "Married" her mom, my life can be so weird.

What do you have around for first aid on wounds that you get? Betadine (povidone iodine,) chlorhexidene, plain antibiotic ointment (polysporin or neosporin,) or gentian violet is good to put on the wound.

I have iodine I can use.
I can do it in the morning right now there all asleep.

I also have rubbing alcohol, would that work?

I would use the iodine since the alcohol stings if the sore is open, but either one will work.

You can use New Skin liquid bandage for an antiseptic and for wound coverage. But depending on if it's fresh or not it might "burn" a little when you put it on, so make sure you have a good hold on clucky. Will last a bit if you can actually get it applied.

I'm going out to put the rubbing alcohol on Eggy now.
I'll post pics when I'm done,It's wet today so I don't think she is going to stay dry.

Best of luck! I’m sure it will be ok. We were mostly concerned about the “dry” because of all that nasty white stuff in your photos! Don’t want a wet chicken in the cold. But as clean and dry as you can keep her!

I've given her the alcohol, she gave me a weird look but it did not seem to hurt her.
Now my yard is melting snow and ice so she's been slipping around.
