I bought these this weekend. The roo is smooth feathered and the hen is frizzled. I actually got 4 pairs of them. My friend suggested Speckled Sussex bantam. Your input would be great

I'm ignorant when it come to smooth feathered birds and the different variety's of them. I'm a Silkie and sizzle girl. But I could not pass up on these tiny frizzled birds. Please help.... The pics are not the best in the world, they are as wild as the day is long.

Here is the smooth feathered Roo.

They are very small. You can see my hand in one pic and I am small framed. I would guess they weigh less that 2-3lbs? And, obviously never been handled, getting one on the scales was out of the question

I had a hard time just holding one and snapping pics. Thanks for any suggestions.

The rooster is an Old English Game bantam cross or a Dutch Bantam, the hen is a frizzled mutt.

Speckled Sussex are meaty birds and rarely come in bantam form.

She is the only one of the group that has that pointy comb. The rest have the same comb as the roo. She just happened to be the only one I could catch
