What is this thing?

This is a long shot, but is there any chance it is an escaped ferret? It's long like a mink (my most hated predator), but the light-colored fur on the face isn't right -- at least for the minks around here. It doesn't look quite right for a weasel or a marten, in my opinion.

Whatever it is, it needs to GO AWAY! Hope all your poultry stays safe.

I can't tell if it's white on the face or if it stole something out of the trash in the back
 
You're right about seeing less white on the face. I'm still leaning towards some sort of weasel-ly critter. If it's a mink, they tend to like to hang around a water source -- in my case, a dredge ditch nearby -- and males like to have an exclusive, miles-territory. I have no experience dealing with other members of that family.
