What is this weird squishy thing I found in the nesting box?

Another question for the experts on BYC.

I found this thing in one of our nesting boxes. It was squishy and soft and it looks like an organ. Any ideas on what it could be?

Looks to be what is referred to as a lash egg.

I agree with @Eggsoteric it looks like "Lash Egg" also know as Salpingitis.

If she is still active and happy - seems to be ok (eating/drinking/pooping), then I would just keep and eye on her, love her and give some extra TLC and play it by ear.
