What is this?

I was cleaning out my coop this morning and saw this
.

It is not a eggless egg nor is it a normal chicken dropping.

Did you collect it? Was it extremely squishy or somewhat firm to the touch? If you still have it, cut it open. First blush says it may be a lash egg - but that would go back to the texture, contents, etc on examination/disection.

Hard to say...doesn't really look like lash but....just keep an eye on things.
How big is it?
Could be a fluke or the beginning of the end.
Check vents and abdomens.

I found something similar in the nesting box on top of a soft shell broken membrane. Did you ever figure out what this was? Is the hen healthy?
