    Tough picture, but immediate thought was a member of the weevill family. Scratch a bit old? Very common if so. Even if not too old, they can multiply very quickly.

    Can't tell that is what it is for sure, but that is my guess.

    I would not toss it all out. I once got them halfway though a bag but I still finished it off. Not sure what your storage situation is like, but I keep my scratch in metal trash cans in the coop area, so there was no worry about keeping it and using it.
