I should clarify... they’re not typically referred to as ‘tongs’ in their proper use... but I just got them back from a friend I loaned them to and he called them “tongs” ...

... so if it looks like a duck, and makes duck noises... and all that jazz... then I guess they’re tongs

Nope they’re not for handling anything hot... they are for handling something metal, but it’s typically quite cold.
