What is this?

Okay I’m back from chores early... I burned up the slip clutch pads on the cutter trying to cut a patch of honey suckle... ... I have new pads here at house so not the end of the world...

But anyway...

Is it a cicada killer nest?

Nope .... but it is a bug nest of sorts...

it's a Southie thingy.

I’m not certain but I would guess you have these up there too...

Yep! And I looked they do exist in Minnesota

Best pics I could get... I think she’s gonna have babies... if I don’t forget and drive over her nest with the mower or tractor

btw... the white powder was dry wall dust from the other day when I was shaking out the shop vac filter... took me a while to figure that out...

Not sure that this is the exact species... or I should say I’m not sure of the exact species I took pics of... since she runs back in her hidey hole when I walk by...
