No, I just think that fountain pens are better for writing, they are smooth and require practically no pressure to write with. They are also just plain cool!

Gotcha... I thought maybe you used it a great deal ... thus the refill...

I used to have one and I agree on the cool/fun factor.... I either still have it and it’s packed in a box, or my wife gave it away when we moved... no idea.:idunno

I was gifted a really nice two pen set a few years back, that I’ve never taken out of the fancy box... Guess I just don’t scribble on much these days.
 
The converter that I posted is a "squeeze" converter which means you dip the pen in the ink and then squeeze it and then it expands to draw in more ink. I'm not using it right now, because you can't tell how much ink you have left, and it doesn't seal very well to the pen. The good ones have a piston that is used to draw in more ink, kind of like a syringe.
