What is this?

Took my pekin drake to two different vets. First vet said it was just a scab, the next vet said it was bumble. He has been on two different meds and had surgery. He has had this foot injury for awhile now and it seems to not be fully healing. I just would like to know what you guys think this could be and why it is taking so long to heal? First picture is from Sept 3, the other picture is after surgery on August 26.
tsp of epsom salt, Two Tbsp Tobacco, Two Tbsp chopped onion, smash into a poultice, place directly on, wrap tight, but not so tight it cuts off circulation, give it about six hours. Reapeat about three or for times, once the infection draws out, go back to the Silver Sulfadiazine, or bactrem. Not to insult anyone, neosporin sucks now, since they classfied on of the three antibiotics in it, and replaced it, one out of three humans have adverse reactions to it, polysporin isn't much better. I'm not going to argue axioms, nor challenge anyone's belief, I've had first hand a LNP and a full on MD say it should either be set back to the original ingredients or taken of the market. Again I'm not trying to tip the apple cart tobacco and onions both have a couple hundred years of drawing out infection.

As an RN, it's Bactrim, not sure you can get without an prescription. Neosporin is readily available. I had Silvadine from a serious burn I suffered, I tried that on my chicken's bumblefoot, however, I felt it was preventing the wound from closing so I went to Neosporin, it's just what worked for me. I also debrided the wound every three days.

I used Neosporin on it the first time around and it seemed to work but then the scab turned black and took him to vet and that is how I got the silver sulfadiazine.

@Miss Lydia This is the meds Paco was on...

That is a good antibiotic. I think a couple other people had that prescribed for bumblefoot.

@Cparrott if your vet prescribed meds and other products try these first. But I’d defiantly get that infection out of there 3 months is a long time and you def don’t want it spreading. We’re here for you.

So I have a duck shoe that i have been using. Should use vetrap instead?
I'm not familiar with the name brand, but if the Vetwrap is like a rubberized, stick to itself, gauze like Coban? If it is, it's great stuff, just becareful it likes to tighten up when it gets cold. We had a pup with a umbelical hernia. Until she was old enough for surgery, we'd wrap her up to hold it in. We'd wrap it indoors, then she'd run out in the cold to pee and it would be extremely tight. It's something I never thought of, and it took a few times before I caught it, I felt pretty bad. I had wrapped my finger with it, went outside working, pretty sure that's what rawhide torture feel like. Just thought I'd pass it on.
