I was thinking that possibly the egg broke inside and toxins killed her. I'm sad today. But she looked normal yesterday. I didn't see anything out of normal on her and she hasn't gained or lost any weight. Thanks for responding she was 5 years old. Her name was Peppa

I'm very sorry for your loss. I know it's kind of late to respond, but I just saw this thread and I couldn't help but notice the name. I had a chicken named Peppa too. She was a black australorp. She died from a heart problem when she was one year old. This was about three years ago.
