In the Brooder

I’ve been treating this roughly 18 week old hen for sour or impacted crop for about a week.
Her current treatment has corid mixed in her water, generic monistat 2x a day, coconut oil and a crop massage 3x a day and she has daily plain Greek yogurt with her crumbles.
She was doing very well and her crop emptied for 2 nights in a row. The last 2 nights it has emptied but only about half.
She does act as though her crop is itching or uncomfortable later in the day and walks as if so.
However, I was doing her crop massage after work today and noticed this scab/wound towards the left bottom side of her crop and I have no clue what it could it be. She’s still in a larger brooder with 2 other 18 weekers (transitioning to our flock has been difficult then we added the crop treatment) so I don’t think it’s a true wound from another hen. What is this??

Possibly a feather grew in very wrong? It's a little hard to tell from the pictures but it looks like there might be some feather shafts glued into that mess. I would try giving her a bath and seeing if you can clean the wound up enough to tell how deep it is and get the feathers out as much as you can...

That’s what I was thinking too? It’s just odd that we have the crop issue and this at the same time. I’ll soak her in some warm water tomorrow and see what happens. She doesn’t seem bothered when I touch it or anything but walks like it’s itching her. We’ll do a bath and see what happens.
