What is this?

Last night I had a hen that was lying on the coop floor acting very lethargic, didn’t want to open her eyes. I separated her from the flock. This morning and today she is very alert. Still standing around but she is still separated. I washed her bum as she has yellow discharge. She is drinking a lot and she ate a scrambled egg and some egg layer crumble. Tonight I went out and there was this yellow thing in the crate floor. I picked it up with a glove and it is hard. Was she egg bound? These are stool pics from tonight.

My guess is it is a lash egg. With gloves on, cut it open. It would be solid, unlike an egg. If that's it, be cautious as that's a staff infection.

**I should mention they have been eating a lot of zucchini and cucumbers from the garden. I have 17 hens total and 1 rooster. she is the only one that is acting off.

Possible lash egg caused by infection? Did you cut it open?

Thank you! I read it. I’ve seen others post about them but have never experienced one. Now I’m just wondering if she needs to be humanely culled.

If you read the comments under the article by I think it was Lacy Duckwing, she speaks of Calcium supplements and amoxicillin helping. Nothing cures it, but another commenter in there talks about how her hen wasn't affected really and kept laying eggs and lived a long life.
