Is this an embryo?
 
2nd photo is a soft shelled egg membrane.

1st one... if you have it saved somewhere, do cut it open and take a photo of the inside as that looks like it could possibly be lash material, though we'd need to see inside to know for sure.

I don’t have it anymore, but when I cut it open, it looked like the inside of a sausage or pepperoni stick. There was a spot that looked like fatty tissue and when I pressed on it, it bubbled.
 
So the inside looked like this?

If so it's a lash egg/salpingitis which is a bacterial or viral infection of the oviduct.

I don't suppose you know which layer might've dropped this? If you can ID which bird it is you can try treating it with antibiotics, which can help if it's a bacterial infection.
