What is this?

We have been prepping items on the property for a dump haul out. This was on our property when we bought it a few years ago and was used for storing firewood by the previous owner.

Google image says “vintage quail/poultry brooder”. The former owners (original to the property) did raise turkeys and hogs here decades ago, so it very well could be. But I also can’t find anything online that looks similar.

So bringing to the collective wisdom of the group to see if anyone can confirm. And if it isn’t a brooder, anyone know what it is? I always assumed it was something for general ag (we are in ag and wine country here).

It looks like it could have been a brooder? Ours is metal and about that size, but without a divider.

Thanks for the reply! I was hoping to figure out a use for it rather than send it to the dump/scrap. If it was a brooder, maybe it can be one again in the future…
