What is this?

I will post a picture in a minute, I always seen this hen as old but I'm not sure, when everyone else is out bin the field she stays in the pen sometimes even on the coop and just stands there looking at a wall, when bread is thrown everyone else attempts to fly over while she just sits there. I brought herein last night and my mum and dad said there was nothing wrong with her so when I opened the coop this morning I was looking for her and everyone else came out but not her, I looked in and she was laying dead on the floor of the cool her head tucked in to her chest :-( I'm fifteen and this was a bit of a shock to me ::-( what is it so I can prevent it happening again..??

Did you notice her poop? Had she lost weight?

I think her poops were really black or brown, she was always drinking and I didn't see any weight loss

I'm sorry to hear. It's hard to tell what's wrong sometimes. I'm dealing with a sick hen too.

Very dark poop could be a sign of Coccidious. How is everyone else' poop?
