Rooster with v comb and blue legs.

Polish have the blue or slate legs too. There are quiet a few breeds that have slate shanks. My brabanters do and so does my Spitzenhaubes. Ameracana's have slate and redcaps, penedesencas, and hamburgs just to name a few. I don't know if the shipping process is messing up the poor little chickies but both of these birds came from the same breeder. And I was assured that I got Large Pure Fowl in the swap. Maybe her hen or rooster throws some wicked cool genes!!!

ETA:
Banter do you have any brabanter eggs for sale? I have two cream pullets but no rooster. I think they need a boyfriend! LOL

Harley, you have Polish, Brabanters, and Spithaubs. What differences do you see in the breeds? How would you tell them apart as breeds?

Spitz do not have a beard and their crests come forward.
Brabanters crest come forward and it is not as long as a Polish.
Polish's crest reminds me of long hair, it grows up and over.
Polish come in lots more color too. To my knowledge, there are only (in both breeds) gold, cream, and silver spangled colors. (If I am wrong someone please correct me.

All of them have slate legs, crests, v combs, and high nostrils.
And they are all about the same size.
