Why are there no hatcheries at all that I can find in Illinois and very few breeders in Northern Illinois? Ive seen some people from Joliet and farther South, but no one in Northern Illinois. Does Illinois have different laws or something that prevent hatcheries from opening here or doing well here? Tons of Hatcheries in Iowa, so it cant be because of our weather. Wisconsin too. I just dont get it.
