What is wrong? Please help!

I have a 5 day old baby quail that is acting strange it is arching its head way back, and another one who is spitting whiteish fluid?
These are our first attempt at quail and we are loving them, they are so cute!
We give them game feed starter and water (nobody is wet). They have a heat lamp on them and have been doing great until this morning.
Anyone?????

The Backward Arching In Quail Is Notorius Sign Of Encephalopathy (quail Meningitis If You Will...) I Hope I'm Wrong On This Because Its Almost Always Fatal To Them. Do A Search On Here For Encephalopathy--- Monarc Posted A Link A While Back That Is Quite Informative On This Subject. Good Luck And Lets Hope I'm Wrong! If I Am Not You Will Need To Decontaminate Everything With Bleach Water Asap, And Adhere To Strict Isolation Techniques So That You Dont Infect Any Other Animals On Your Place--- Strict Handwashing, Keep The Infected Birds Confined Away From Other Birds, Etc....

or Could they have ingested bedding or the substrate your raising them on..does happen when not using paper towel over the bedding for the first week..

Sorry to hijack, but I have a chick that like spits out water when I carry him, I'm not thinking much of it though because he runs around eats and drinks like the rest, I have another that tilts his head back I thought it was weird but same as the last he runs around drinks and eats like the rest should I be worried?

Both of mine seem to be fine now. Not sure what it was but I am putting them away from the rest to watch them for a day or two.
