One of my barred rocks has black and white spots on her comb. The other one doesn’t. They showed up a few weeks ago and I don’t know what they are. Should I be concerned? Should I separate her from my other hens?

I live in Phoenix, and when I first noticed them, the average temp was in the upper 60’s.

I suppose. I have 3 and they all lay about the same time. I will see if I can catch them in the act, but I don’t know how I can do that without affecting egg production. Any suggestions?

I just go out there and watch them. If there's trouble, I remove one. Sometime's a couple of hen's seem to enjoy the other one in the nest with them. It just all depend's.
