What is wrong with my chickens comb?

Just noticed this today. It isnt something on the comb from i can tell. It is the comb itself. It is a bluish black almost like a bruise.
Does anyone know what this is?

Certainly could be from pecking and simply be scabs or it could be fowl pox.

The chicken is by itself in a separate pen from the others. She was sick with a CRD a while back and i kept her separated.

how cold has it got? could it be frostbite?

She has Pox..Tis the season here in south Ga

It hasnt gotten cold enough for it to be frostbite.
What is Pox and how do you treat it? Is it contagious to other chickens? What made her get it?
