What is wrong with my chickens eye??

Agree with advice given. If it's MG, it will recur during times of stress, and stress can be caused by just about anything. Heat could be one. If that's what it is then it will be a lifelong thing you deal with, they carry it for life, you only treat the symptoms.

Levels and severity of symptoms can vary, individual immune systems vary. If it's at all possible, I would find a vet that can test one of your birds (often just a oropharyngeal swab, sometimes a blood test) to confirm if that is what you are dealing with. It makes decisions easier as to what may, or may not, be necessary, when you know for sure what you are dealing with. Some recommendations for an MG positive flock is a monthly treatment to help control the symptoms.

Is it okay to do treat with antibiotics even if they aren’t acting sick? It’s just the eye, so I want to be careful about using the antibiotics.
You can treat just the eye, but if she is sick or acting lethargic and having respiratory symptoms you can use the antibiotic. Tylosin is actually approved for poultry. I would only treat the bird that is sick.
