What is wrong with my hens comb!?

What antibiotic was she on? Do you think she might have been allergic of sensitive to it? I’m so glad that the hobble has worked to stop her scratching the comb, and glad that you have a new poultry friend. Your rooster sounds like my poor remaining guy. I have to help him off a 20 inch tall roost every morning because he can’t see down well due to face feathers, and tries to fly and crashes into the wall. He curls his neck down and under him as he naps in the daytime, and at night when he sleeps. I just let him be, since he has a single hen for a mate. They stay sepearte from my large flock and run around my back yard all day.

I accidentally tossed the packaging for the antibiotic earlier today when cleaning and had taken out the trash before realizing. I don’t think it was a bad reaction but everything at this point is speculation. My rooster has a hen that is his mate. I think she wouldn’t live long if he goes. She doesn’t lay anymore though, I just enjoy having them.
