I have a 9wk old RIR/Sex Link rooster that has something wrong with his leg. He has been fine as far as I could tell before now but when I came in to feed them this evening I noticed his leg was twisting inwards sometimes. He can walk although he sort of walks on the outer part of his foot and he has an excellent appetite. There is no swelling. He'll stand and sometimes his leg/foot turns inwards. If you feel the leg compared to the other the entire leg feels like it is turned horizontally instead of vertically like the normal leg. I have no clue what is going on here. He is otherwise fine. They were on a high protein feed which I have now switched him off of. Does too much protein cause something like that to happen? He is larger than his two hatch siblings. He doesn't seem to be in any pain although I did notice he doesn't want to put too much pressure on it like to step up to get out of his pen to run around.
Please help if you can. Thanks in advance yall!
