what is wrong with my Rhodie?!?!

I noticed that my Rhode Island Red rooster was shivering and vomiting up a dark brown liquid this evening. He is usually very spunky and won't let anything or anyone near his hens. He allowed me to put the hens in the coop and then let me pick him up. His crop seems to be a little bigger than usual and his cone has started to turn black. What can I do for him ? HELP!!

Thank you for your help. I think I'm even more worried now then what I was though with so many saying not to wait too long because of the chances of impacted crop killing them. On top of that, I'm having trouble locating a vet to see him just in case I can't take care of this myself.

A black comb can mean he isn't getting enough oxygen - which is serious.

My Henry is looking and feeling better! Still not 100%,but much better than he was ...Thanks for all the advice guys!
