I use Craigslist, limited. I find posting about a swap I would be going to has lead to some additional sales.

I wonder if you could some how block the fool who sent you that.

I really wish I could stay away from craiglist, but local alternatives have very small membership/use in comparison. Unfortunately, reporting stuff on CL apparently is hit/miss, I once had someone post my phone number for their advert (hopefully just a mistake) and I couldn't get it removed. Had to wait for ad to expire to stop getting messages about some bit of furniture.

That way once you done your business.

OP, did you report it to CL?

( I have teens, on online a lot, and I have had a few hard talks to make sure he does NOT do these things as it has become the "norm" among young people. I'd rather he be "abnormal".

I think you can report it to CL. I don't use FB anymore but do use CL to post reminders for our farm swaps.

Social media can be scary and creepy. Sorry you experienced that.

He was just having a bit of fun...... if he really was creepy, he'd email back the gal and told her to meet him in an abandoned warehouse or something to do the exchange. THOSE are the real predators.
