What is wrong with people?

I would doubt it was photoshopped only because there are a LOT of disturbed sites out there. Some show un-editted murder pics, death pics, etc. Of animals and humans alike. My first thoughts were someone found the pic of a dead dog on one of these sites and posted it. I could be wrong about, and this person may have killed their own dog to prove a point

but I suspect the first option, where they found it. As for how I know about some of these sites, well in college there was some talk about them and I was curious. I thought "there is no way anyone could be so calleous and sick as to make a website like that..." I was wrong. I learned how depraved the human mind can truely be, and it breaks my heart to know people out there think it's funny or "awesome" or get off on such horrific things...

The flaggers are the ones that should be shot... cant stand them freaks. Talk about needing to get a life...
Just saying..

I'm with the redhen,

I'm simply sick and tired of folks who flag adds.

While the add was horrid, the flagging of honest ads needs to cease.... or the crazies will come out.

I'm sure the photo was a hoax. The poster would be investigated by the craigslist police and the real cops. On another note I think it does say on craigslist "no pets legal livestock only" or something like that and the phrase "rehoming fee" is viewed by CL as a sale price.

Its not illegal to put a dog down every where, maybe this proves that some should mind their own buisness

We live in the animal drop off zone. It seems that way anyway. The last 2 that got dropped off here decided to stay and the first one is a cat and she's been here for 2 years now. The best cat anybody can have. The last one was just last week. It was a lab mix male dog. He was so sweet and listened very good. Unfortunately when I let my silkies out he wanted to "play" with them. We can't have that so I found him another home with somebody that lives in town. If the animal sticks around we either keep it or find it a home.

The cat is an inside and outside cat. She doesn't bother chicks or the chickens. She has had a quail meal or two from some that got loose and I couldn't catch but other than that she is real good. Her litter box is even in the room that I have my incubators and brooders in. She never shows any interest in them. We had her fixed last year so she don't reproduce because one of the cats that got dropped off a couple years ago is a male and wild. He shows up every now and then looking for a free meal. He used to try to get to the quail. I had to cover them up at night to keep his sticky paws out of the cages.

Anyway, killing an animal for no reason other than a flagged post is just cruel. I can see it if the animal has been injured and need put out of their misery fast or it's been caught killing livestock. Chasing them away will only mean they will come back for more. Where I live a dog in the yard means it's either wild or been dropped off.

Last year we had 2 dogs come in our yard and my grandson was outside with DH and one of the dogs came charging after my grandson snarling. Dh and the grandson was about to do some arget practice for deer season so they happed to have a gun with them. The dog was shot before it got to our grandson. The dog was a pit bull. The other dog ran away and we never saw it again.

Sometimes it's necessary but not over a flagged post.

I donno... if the only option was dumping the dog for who knows how many hours in a strange (who knows what diseases suffered) place only to be put down... well then maybe a bullet, straight to the brain so immediate death, is the lesser evil in their minds.

That note was likely not addressed to the kind compassionate people on CL... those are the ones this person's original ads begging a home for this animal were prolly aimed at... but thanks to jackarse flaggers those good people never saw the ads thus this owner was faced with the above mentioned choice. Also always the chance that the shelter requires payment upon receipt of an animal and they had NO funds (hence offering the dog in the first place) or was full, thus there wasn't any choice at all.

Then again there's also the chance that this person got that pic off of Google and only posted it in the hopes that maybe jerkwad flaggers would take a long enough break for their real ad to get through to a person willing to help.

I don't know this person's situation, or whether that pic was of their animal, or really anything... so I hate to assume one way or the other.

Edit... just because I can't not know I googled "dog shot" and "dead dog, shot" and such and sure enough several images of dogs were right there to choose from... not proof of course, since I donno what this ad's dog looked like, but since you've seen it yourself perhaps a quick peek might tell you at least whether it was a hoax to shut of flaggers or might actually be a real animal hurt.

Kinda hard when they make it a post on craigslist people are thinking just what they wanted them to think regardless if it is true or not.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion and my opinion is if it is true then it is cruel and inhumane period. You don't have to shoot a dog to put it down either, there are other ways to handle putting a dog to rest. Unless a very rare circumstance to put it out of its pain and suffering, NOT because you are getting flagged or can't find the dog a home.

I am adog lover. How can you say injecting a toxin in to a vein is more humane then a bullet to the brain? Both are very quick!!
