What is wrong with these eggs?

Hi guys,

Can anyone tell me why my chickens have started laying eggs that look like this?

x2 looks to be poo, yes. Which I believe can sometimes indicate worms are present. @casportpony

I am curious too, they remind me of the eggs that I will collect that have muddy foot prints on them after we've had rain and the girls have been in the run.

It looks like they rolled in poop or something after they were laid.

Could also be poo / mud from their feet if its muddy or wet where you live

Do you have ducks?

If it continues to be like that or your hens are acting strange and lethargic it could be worms, but if its just these eggs I think they just have mud on them or poop.

ThNks everyone. I was thinking it wasn’t poop because it’s more a watery streak than a solid. Based on your comments I’ll treat for worms. Thanks very much!

Just curious, what is the bedding you are using in your nest boxes?
Also does that wash off ?
