What is your 2022 chick order list?

No hatcheries here but I'm going to try reeeelly hard to source some good Sultans. I tried last year, spent $200 plus postage on a dozen eggs, two chicks hatched but only one has survived. Talk about one expensive chick

Mostly non broody medium size would love a bielefelder but twice the size of my girls now. I'd love some little cuties but afraid with the cold we get that would be mean.

2 Olive Egger

Hopefully will finalize my hatchery mail order in the next week or so!

I already ordered some from Ideal poultry (I hope to order some more birds later in the year). They're set to come late Feb.

1 Partridge Cochin
1 Barred Rock
1 Easter Egger
1 Norwegian Jaerhon (excited about that one)
1 Olive Egger
and 25 Cornish Rocks (first meat bird batch of the year, hopefully).

I was so tempted to order some bantams this time (will most likely order some my next order.)

As for orps get chocolate its harder to find and id get any wyandotte whatever color your prefer i have all but silver laced and splash

Placed my order went with the lavender (I realized I have a lot of brown chickens lol) and blue laced red! So excited! They ship April 27th- which will be here before you know it!

I’m getting 2 blue laced red & 2 Lav Orpingtons too! (end of June though…I teach and like being home when the chicks first arrive!)…plus 2 Olive Eggers. We will have to compare pics!
