I dont eat my chickens but i do like the naked necks, just because they are different. And thanks for the replies.

dark Brahmas specificly the dark,

and I couldn't ask for a better chicken than my Barred rock girls. they are friendly , smart, forage well free range but also can handle being in the coop/run as well. they have been great thru this hard hot summer,

so yup I will have to go with the Barred rocks..

although

I do Like my EE's they are also very hardy birds and friendly as well..

nope still the barred rocks.

Silkies silkies silkies! They're so soft and fluffy and sweet. My pullet is like half the size of my cockerel, she looks as big as him but when I put her up, she feels so tiny!

Haha, I think it's funny when people say they like they're chickens because they're pretty, friendly.....and tasty

It's a bit like saying: "I LOOOOVE CHICKENS....BUT I COULDN'T EAT A WHOLE ONE'

p.s. I am partial to my silkie (but nope I couldn't eat her...)
