What is your favorite Fair/Carnival Food?

I think I just gained 10lbs reading everyone's favorites! An extra 15lbs just for reading about the fried butter.

We have two fairs this year... the big State Fair that recently moved from it's regular location in Richmond, to it's new location in the country (near the Kings Dominion theme park).

The one I'm looking forward to the most is tonight's "Field Day of the Past" in Goochland/Manakin-Sabot area. That's awesome!

The news story was about a contest they have every year to introduce new fair food. Fried peaches and cream won but the fried butter got alot of attention.

lemonade and caramel coated apples on a stick with nuts on top.....For those in Virginia, don't forget the Virginia State Fair is coming next weekend!! Different venue this year - the farm that the famed racehorse Secretariat lived. My mouth is watering just thinking about it!!!

Mouth watering about the thoughts of the fair food, not eating the horse......

When I lived in Honolulu, HI, my favorite was Leonard's Malasadas!

A light dough quick fried then sprinkled with sugar.
Served hot, YUM!
