What is your favorite kind of chiken?

I just got my first chickens last year. They where Rhode Island Red, I have really injoyed them they are very docile and exellcent egg layers. My one hen likes to be held alot to.

My Delaware's are my favorite right now because although they are a month younger then the rest of my hens the fight them off and they are very brave and friendly little girls I also like them because they are an endagered breed and are very practical because they are dual purpose.

Love my Orps- my RIR is loud... and a little skittish. But they come when called (with the exception of Pecky, who's a little slow on the uptake sometimes) and are generally quite sweet.

When I can I will be poking around for other breeds... not a lot of availability here unless you order.

Hmmmm..... I have many. Silkies, Sebrights, D'Uccles, NN, Cochin, all the fancy stuff. My mom's is silkies. My dad's is anything that can make money, and KFC.
