What is your guess of duckling coloration?

Six ducklings were waiting for me when I arrived at school and the other two hatched a few hours later. All nine look rather similar. Some are more gold (brown gene?) others more gray (blue). I can’t really tell if anyone has a crest yet.

This one is the most “gray”.

So very cute. How many eggs did you start with? 9 babies is fantastic.
I believe we set 13, 1 was infertile, 2 quit early and one I thought was good was actually rotten. I have been getting pretty good hatches in my still air styrofoam incubator using an external thermostat I bought on amazon, incubating dry until the last week, and running a cool air humidifier next to the incubator. All nine eggs I locked down hatched unassisted and easily.

Wow that's really good. I am 4 out of seven with a Brinsea forced air. Every time. This time they were all fertile but three died.
I think I have the most trouble with humidity. I have not done as well in the summer when we have really high humidity. But for winter I think having the humidifier kept them from being shrink wrapped when I took the first one out.

I see blues and lilacs.
Blue isn't a gene that's carried, its a dilution of black. So the white hen is likely a blue masked by the white. So the blues should be boys and the lilacs should be girls.
I don't see any crests
