What job do you do?

I'm just curious. I'm between jobs at the moment, though I suppose I can say I'm a farmer (small scale). Making a living off chickens and vegetables etc.
What do you all do?

I work for a company making breakfast cereal in the UK (just been taken over by a company called bright)

I don't work but I take care of two rabbits 8 chicken one guinea hen two dogs and two cats. I grow catnip for the cats and I put it in them small critter wiz wizmins I don't know they are all sorts of animals I take the insides out and put catnip in and let them sit in a bag to get the sent of the catnip then I throw them to the cats so cool to see them my husband said I am getting them to be drug addicts.

I reckon my animals are my job

oh and my husband. oh and to clean house

I work at a Veterinary clinic. It has it's good days and bad. Currently there is 4 doctors to run after. I do just a little bit of everything, cleaning, holding animals, surgery help, putting patients in rooms. I would much rather make a living at farming because I love to do it, being home and with my animals! I use to ride and train horses, I like to work independently and be my own boss. Maybe someday.

I work in non-commercial or 'pure' animal research. I have an enjoyable job, awesome coworkers (both human and the rats and mice!), and am constantly astounded by and love seeing the amazing results that come from it. That said, I am very excited for the plans my husband and I have for about 2 to 3 years down the road. We have been working towards more self-employment type jobs, and may finally see them start to come to fruition at that point. Doesn't matter how much I love what I do, I can only go so long being told that raises 'just can't be afforded, so here, have a cookie", when that is clearly not the case. Oh, and having huge decisions made higher up with no input from workers...that often end up being changed yet again because they were a huge failure...which any of us could have pointed out before spending wads of cash. Basically, work politics...hope to see less of them after the jump. X)

I'm a personal assistant to a team of realtors.

I am a taxi driver, doctor, nurse, psychiatrist, psychologist, vet, groom, stable hand, horse trainer, maid, chef, baker, gardner, teacher, wife and mother (AKA stay at home mom).

We have 4 arabians( Kamah, Star, Patty, Nova) 2 shetland ponies(Little Bit, Dreamer), 7 dogs(chinese cresteds: Chilly, Mason, Baby, Rider, chocolate lab: Remington, Jack Russell: Milo) (one of which belongs to my parents who live in town but come out daily to exercise him a mixed breed stray named Waldo), 6 cats(Bob, Sam, Missy,Mystery2, snowbell,Gumdrop), a mini french lop bunny(snickers), a beta fish (budha)
My husband Steve Daughter Bridgette(9 going on 20) and son Alex (22)

We are also very active in our church my husband is the head of security so he is there Wednesday and Thursday evenings and Sunday mornings and evenings and any other time there is something going on. Plus he works at a local factory building landfill compactors (big tractors that smash the trash in landfills) 50+ hours a week
I help in the church wherever I am needed usually in the nursery and covering for a teacher when they are gone.

I may not get "paid" but I love my job......

I operate the digital print shop for the county educational agency. translation: I run a big printer and make other people's work look nice.
