I agree with the other posts. Also, if you have a game camera put it up because at this point it's just a guessing game and most likely the predator will be back since it has killed and then you will know what you are dealing with and can make a plan. It has probably been lurking and found a way in. My guess would be a weasel but not knowing where you live, again it is only a guess. Good luck...
