Help with identifying what kind this pair is. Got them because they were pretty, but now thinking they are actually game chickens. Feeling kinda dumb right now .

Xn on the mille fleur and barnyard mix breeding. That's actually pretty good, because the mixes often tend to be hardier and more disease resistant than a lot of the purebreds. As far as your reason for getting them in the first place goes, you were spot on with your logic. She's really pretty and he's absolutely gorgeous! And there's nothing wrong with game birds. They tend to be pretty hardy, too ... and their eggs taste just as good as any other fresh egg!
All in all, you did well! Are they your first chickens or are you adding on (or starting over?) Regardless, You'll get a lot of good info here on BYC - and likely make a few friends, to boot. It's a great place to learn, to question, to share some chuckles ... and an even better place to stave off the "OhMaGosh what do I do NOW" panics, when they hit ... which, if you have chickens, they will!
So pull up a roost, a perch, a chair, whatever suits your fancy, and enjoy your chickens along with us. And thanks for sharing. I genuinely believe the one thing we love best on BYC is PICTURES!

I think they are pretty, and my prettiest chickens are barnyard mix. My Dad once got game chickens on purpose, because they are great free range chickens, they make great mothers. If they do have some game in them, its not a bad thing. Welcome to backyard chickens! Enjoy your beautiful new chiks!

They look kind of like Cackle's Splash Old English but lighter so yeah likely mixes but yeah Game almost guaranteed and very pretty, especially her. The only real negative about most game breeds is males are generally very territorial and often aggressive, even to humans. Not all of them are this way for sure.
I agree with the others nothing really wrong with having games, they just might have to have a separate area from other roosters/cockerels.

The feeling dumb comment was because someone saw them and said "you didn't know you bought fighting chickens."
We have about 25 chickens already. I've lost count .My fiancee has become a chicken hoarder I think! We have some buffs, RIR, black sex links and a few roosters in the mix that all get along really good with no fighting. We also have 7 children that help with them so I don't want anything aggressive.
Thank you for the warm welcome!!

How about this pair? He was told they are silver Duckwing bantams. I
bought him an incubator for his birthday so he was looking for nice looking pairs to play around with. It's something he has always wanted to do.
