What kind if Ducks are these??

I got these 2 ducks as babies and I don't know what kind they are can you help? and is it too early to see if they are male or female?
they are so funny.

If they are khakis, they are hens. Girls have dark bills boys have pale yellow bills.

One of the best! The other really good layers are runners and welsh harlequins. I have had all 3 breeds.

I used to have a khaki that chased squirrels. I miss that crazy thing

I think, unless it is the lighting in the photo, that the one in front may be a boy. Is the bill on that one green? My boys are pale green in the bill coloring, and they got lighter as they got closer to maturity. How old are they?

You should be able to tell for sure by how they sound.

Girls make obvious loud quacks. Boys make a soft "reep reep...repp reep...reep reep" sound.

I am trying to remember for sure, but they should be getting close to molting and growing in their adult plumage, and I think that is when the difference in bill color started to become obvious. Also, my boys developed much brighter leg coloring than the girls. Wifezilla is right, if that one has a raspy "reep, reep" instead of a distinct "quack, quack" you'll have your answer. I love my Kahkis, and they have just started to lay..
